Like any home improvement project, landscaping requires thorough planning and plenty of decision-making. A series of at least two or three meetings with your Mocks landscape designer will be necessary to discuss your needs, complete your custom design, and give us the go ahead. At the end, you'll be on your way to enjoying a beautiful new private landscape.

1. The first meeting takes place at your home and is a comfortable exchange of ideas between you and your designer. You describe the landscaping you've always dreamed of, the challenges you have had in the past, and your designer will take measurements and offer expertise and experience to the discussion. You'll have a chance to get your questions answered from a knowledgeable professional.

2. The second meeting takes place at our office in Mogadore about 10 to 14 days after your initial meeting. Your custom landscape design and proposal will be presented for your review at this time. You might discuss revisions or changes at this time. If the plan is exactly what you'd envisioned, a third meeting may not be necessary.

3. A final meeting, if needed, will take place at our Mogadore office and should involve all parties who will be approving the final plans.

4. When you have approved your custom landscape design, a contract will be presented for your signature. A 25% deposit is due at contract signing. 

5. When you are happy with your design and the contract is signed, we will then discuss scheduling your project. Depending on the backlog of work, it may take several days or weeks for work to commence.

6. Before work commences, the designer and production manager or crew leader will carefully lay out the landscape design as per the plan.  You may be present for this if you wish.

7. After your project has started, your landscape designer will communicate regularly with the production manager to track progress and address any issues that may arise.

8. The order of installation for a multi-step project is: 1. Sprinkler system 2. Landscaping 3. Landscape lighting 4. Sod.

9. If you have employed other subcontractors, we will meet with them to coordinate any relevant issues.

10. We will call for underground utility locates if your project requires any digging.

11. During the installation, your yard will be disturbed; however, the site will be cleaned as much as possible at the end of the day.

12. All plants will be watered when installed.

13. After your project is completed, your designer will meet with you for a final walk-through of your property.  We will discuss plant maintenance and other relevant issues and answer any questions you may have. If you are not present to go over the maintenance when complete. We ask that you schedule a meeting in our office to go over the maintenance of your project. Your designer will ask you to "sign off" on the project, and the balance of payment is due at this time.
